The Tao is like a well:


used but never used up.

It is content with the low places that people disdain.


Thus it is like the Tao.

When a country obtains great power,


it becomes like the sea:


all streams run downward into it.


The more powerful it grows,


the greater the need for humility.


Humility means trusting the Tao,


thus never needing to be defensive.

Yet for dissolving the hard and inflexible,

Water element represents Compassion. It is also essential for life and we all depend on it. Yet it remains humble and cool while serving all lifeforms. It is a great buffer and solvent also, acting as the perfect medium for life. It seeps to the lowest point


According to some research water is positively affected by human thought.. Like Holy water etc


Water also is also formless, but it gives form and nourishes life, it represents purity, and it has a flowing quality.





Our body is over 70% water. The Earth is also the same. So this reflects that we can be well grounded, using the qualities of water.How can we apply wisdom to our life by comparing it to water.?
Wisdom is the result of two process





Experience and intelligence


Length of experience or intensity of experience can enhance wisdom


Intelligence provoked thought process can process the experience to accumulate wisdom.





Thats why certain people evince better wisdom when young and certain ones dont have it at all even after years.





The wisdom ditills the soul part and manifest as the pure form of thinking.





Loke water, the cycle always get it to pour from the sky in the purest form.
water fills the container big or small according to the needer,s requirement


water can not be measured.


It is available in abundance and


takes the shape of container


so the wisdom cannot be scaled


it fills according to the need of the seeker

for good or bad

Water plays many roles in our life. Water quenches your thrist. Water takes many forms and it never in one place for very long. If it stay inone place it becomes unhealthy and ingygienic.When river is noisy , the river is shallow and when calm, the river is deep.


Water is colourless, it shows that we should not have to discriminate ourselves for caste, colour and creed.
(1) Water quenches thirst of people. So should we with what we have. If we have wealth, donate for a good cause. If we have knowledge, keep distributing it.


(2) Water finds its own level, so should we too.


(3) Water flows to lower level, likewise we should also lower our ego.


(4) Water is fluid. We also should give up rigidity of views and become flexible in adopting what is right.


(5) Water is a good solvent, dissolves sugar and salt alike in itself. We too should also mix with all. Take both friends and foes in our fold.


(6) Water is transparent. We too should make our life transparent like water.


(7) Water is colourless. We too should be free from colour of caster and creed.


(8) Water evaporates due to heat, so should our anger too get vapourised when we get heated up.


(9) Water takes the shape of the container in which it is poured. We too should take the shape of the people we are dealing with, children with children, young with youth and humble with the old.
Water is clean, transparent %26amp; calm. That never harms anyone in any manner. It becomes dirty %26amp;/or poisonous only when something is dissolved from outside in that to make it harmful. It never protests that %26amp; simply accepts whatever is poured in it. It is a lesson for all. Meaning is clear.

water adapts and overcomes by taking on different forms, hard or soft. one cannot be so rigid in their ways, we must be like water.
We should wash the impurities of our minds with the wisdom,


just as we wash our dirty bodies with the water.
Because water cleans and purifies our physical body, so does the wisdom with our spirituality
Umm...wisdom nourishes the mind like water nourishes the body?
Water follows the path of least resistance to find equilibrium.
A calm lake is a reflection of your inner peace. A torrid lake has no reflection, only waves.
